Rincón de la Vieja

National Park

On May 25 I arrived in Costa Rica and went almost directly from the airport to Rincón de la Vieja National Park for a hike. These are film photos I took of sulfuric fog, geothermal bubbling, and a waterfall in the rainforest surrounding the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The volcano was active when we hiked around it and it just erupted this past Sunday, July 4, 2021.
